The three main single malt whiskies in Monkey Shoulder are Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie – all from Speyside, the spiritual home of whisky. This gives Monkey Shoulder its distinctive fruity and rich flavour profile.
Monkey Shoulder is a smooth, creamy, supple and very malty Scotch which works superbly well neat, over ice, or in whisky cocktails (where it really excels).

Monkey Shoulder was originally created to make perfect whisky cocktails and has been getting in the mix ever since.
Get a lovely whiff of zesty orange, vanilla, honey and spiced oak before tasting mellow vanilla with spicy hints as you enjoy a cheeky sip. Never one to stay quiet at a party, the smooth, malty and fruity character is bold enough to stand out in a drink, but balanced enough not to take it over.

Then barrel rested in new French oak barrels and bottled at high strength. This gin is designed with a perfect Negroni in mind from start to finish. About Curiosity Gin Negrino SpecialThe Spirits Workshop began in late 2015 when four whisky lovers got together and bought a small still, curious to develop distinctly New Zealand spirits. Our journey is to create, within our workshop, New Zealand’s most celebrated craft spirits. Quality food and beverages are always best enjoyed when there’s a story behind what you’re eating and drinking. We wondered what would it take to deliver our taste of New Zealand to the spirits world? Yoyo, the original 50 litre pot still was our initial step and for the first three years it produced the first four Curiosity Gins in the range.
