About Curiosity Gin Curious Dry

The Spirits Workshop began in late 2015 when four whisky lovers got together and bought a small still, curious to develop distinctly New Zealand spirits.

Our journey is to create, within our workshop, New Zealand’s most celebrated craft spirits. Quality food and beverages are always best enjoyed when there’s a story behind what you’re eating and drinking. We wondered what would it take to deliver our taste of New Zealand to the spirits world?

Yoyo, the original 50 litre pot still was our initial step and for the first three years it produced the first four Curiosity Gins in the range. Yoyo is still in action and in 2019 we acquired a 500 litre still which currently produces all our gin and whisky.

Antony is our Chief Gin Officer, Master Distiller and Managing Director. Stepping out of the corporate world after more than 20 years, he was able to combine his skills in chemistry, engineering and strategy to lead The Spirits Workshop on its journey.

Ciroc is the first and only vodka produced from snap frost grapes that hail from France. These grapes, which have a lower freezing temperature than water, are picked promptly after they freeze on the vine; this process allows for the resultant liquid to have higher sugar content and a very strong grape essence. Ultimately sweet with a distinctive fruity ripeness, Ciroc Snap Frost Vodka is incredibly fresh and unique.A new Rum from Australian spirits company ASM Liquor, made without the use of residual herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides which the company suggests contribute to hangovers.Pale gold with pale straw hue. The aroma is subdued but gradually releases notes of brown sugar, cedary oak and confectionary. The light to medium bodied palate is semi sweet and offers flavours of liquorice all sorts, toasty vanillan oak and soft spices. Good length, becoming dry, finishing with an aftertaste of fennel, vanilla and spice. 37.5 Alc./Vol.Seagram's Extra Dry Gin is a timeless classic that has delighted gin enthusiasts for over a century. Our Twisted Gins lineup features lime, pineapple, peach, apple, red berry, melon and grape flavors, which have also earned top awards in the gin category.

On every quality-made product, we display our core values of Integrity, Craftsmanship and Tradition, instilled by entrepreneur and brand founder Samuel Bronfman. Our heritage of premium quality and smooth flavor distinguish Seagram’s Gin from others.
