Description
The Chardonnay for 30 Mile was blended from across South Eastern Australia’s wine regions, attempting to bring together cool-climate elements (acidity, green and citrus fruits) with characters more associated with warmer spots (honey, tropical fruit). Commercial yeasts were used then to emphasize these fruit and mineral traits as much as possible, and the young wine matured for 6 months in old French oak barrel before being bottled and sold.
