Characteristics Segura Viudas Semi Seco Segura Viudas Semi Seco Reserva is a sparkling wine made with the Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel·lo varieties by the Segura Viudas Winery in Torrelavit, Barcelona, within the D.O. Cava. The Segura Viudas Semi Seco Reserva cava is a coupage of wines that come from various Penedès vineyards and that goes through a stacking process for 18 to 24 months, depending on the vintage.Heretat Segura Viudas dates back to the eleventh century and over this long period of time and through the many uses it has had in its life, Segura Viudas has focussed its path and made itself an international name for making wines and sparkling wines. The colour and tannins of the wine are delicately extracted by employing traditional vinification methods and long maceration (20 days). The resulting wine combines power and refinement. It exhibits a deep purple-crimson robe, a nose of violets and ripe red fruits with hints of vanilla oak. A structured wine with an ample, round finish enhanced by liquorice tannins.Vines perform at their best when they are put to work in the type of soil and climate from which they develop. Cabernet Sauvignon vine stock 337 originated at the great Châteaux in Bordeaux, France, and flourishes in the similar soils and climate of our vineyards in Lodi, beginning with our home vineyard, Clay Station. 337 Cabernet Sauvignon berries are noticeably smaller than average, resulting in small yields, high skin-to-juice ratio, and deep, concentrated flavors. This allows us to blend in other Cabernet Sauvignon selections with bright flavors and silky texture to the final blend, for boldness and balance. “Our Clay Station Vineyard is composed of deep, pebbly clay soils, on a unique site at the top of the most elevated knoll of Lodi, catching the cool afternoon breezes from San Francisco Bay. This vineyard produces grapes of such quality that, before Noble Vines, it supplied Cabernet Sauvignon for prestigious wines selling at three times the price. The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a delicate, understated wine with pretty floral aromatics and mid-weight structure. Drink this soft, easygoing Cabernet over the next few years.Noble Vines is committed to bringing out the best in wine and people. In 2022, we're committed to aid in hunger relief efforts, with a goal to donate over two million meals by the end of the year. But we don’t just do good; we make good wine, too. That’s why each number on the Noble Vines bottle represents a superior vine stock that, over centuries, has been proven to produce exceptional wine. We have a commitment to quality because we know the best brings out the best. So open a bottle of Noble Vines, grab your friends, and pour good into every occasion.
