Content | The Ashmead family began their wine adventure when they purchased the Elderton vineyard in 1979 and first released wines from the Estate in 1982. Today, Elderton is run by second generation brothers, Cameron and Allister, and together they work to uphold the values and traditions that were originally set by their parents. They also work to stay true to great Australian winemaking history. It is their belief that Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon are made to be blended with each other in Australia, and hope you really enjoy this wine. | Château Bell Air Gallier Blanc is a white wine produced in the Bordeaux region of France. It is known for its crisp and refreshing character, typically made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes. | Vines perform at their best when they are put to work in the type of soil and climate from which they develop. Cabernet Sauvignon vine stock 337 originated at the great Châteaux in Bordeaux, France, and flourishes in the similar soils and climate of our vineyards in Lodi, beginning with our home vineyard, Clay Station. 337 Cabernet Sauvignon berries are noticeably smaller than average, resulting in small yields, high skin-to-juice ratio, and deep, concentrated flavors. This allows us to blend in other Cabernet Sauvignon selections with bright flavors and silky texture to the final blend, for boldness and balance. “Our Clay Station Vineyard is composed of deep, pebbly clay soils, on a unique site at the top of the most elevated knoll of Lodi, catching the cool afternoon breezes from San Francisco Bay. This vineyard produces grapes of such quality that, before Noble Vines, it supplied Cabernet Sauvignon for prestigious wines selling at three times the price. | The Gnarly Head Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold, rich, red wine grown from some of the oldest vines in California. The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon are harvested off "head trained" vines that resemble wild bushes with twisted old trunks and branches that spread out in all directions like unruly umbrellas - truly gnarly heads. These untamed vines produce full-flavoured grapes, with dense aromas of black cherry and juicy blackberry. | Château Cissac is located in the heart of the Médoc region. Its exceptional terroir adjoins that of the prestigious Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac appellations, extending over an area of around a hundred hectares. The soil is mainly sandy gravel on top of clay and limestone, and the vineyards occupy a single tract of land which is sheltered by the village of Cissac and the forests which surround it. In keeping with Médoc tradition, the vineyards are mainly planted with, Cabernet Sauvignon. | De La Chapelle Le Merlot is a captivating red wine from France. With its deep purple/red color, this wine offers a delightful bouquet of cassis with hints of vanilla. It is a full-bodied wine that showcases rich plummy fruit flavors, complemented by notes of cassis. The elegant, long, and peppery finish is characteristic of this varietal, providing a truly satisfying experience. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
